Remembering Booba

SWAH-boobaIt is with great sadness that we report the loss of Booba. Booba was a well loved member of the staff, even though he was a cat. He made quick friends with Nicole the receptionist and was usually found if not on her lap always close by. Booba lost his battle with kidney failure after an extended time frame. He was not always happy with his treatments, but we knew they made him feel better because he would always put up a fuss. Booba is survived by Meyers the newest hospital cat who has personality issues and believes himself to be a Golden Retriever. He will also be missed greatly by several staff members who had moved or relocated. Kaylene and Jodi both came by to visit with him when we noticed his illness was progressing. We estimate that Booba had lived to be about 22 years old.

If you would like to make a donation to the Nikki and Booba fund you can do so either in person or by sending a check. The fund is used to help treat indigent or stray animals that can be saved or treated but would otherwise be put to sleep. So far the Nikki and Booba fund has saved 3 cats in the past year.
